Big Data – It’s all about hyper-personalisation
July 8, 2013

The Australian Consensus Technology Association (ACTA), a representative body of technology professionals from Australia, has organised a talk in Sydney on June 27, 2013 by Founder & Principal of BigInsights Raj Dalal. The topic is - BigData is not Big Data.

ACTAimage Some of the points that will be addressed in the talk are:
  1. Is BigData misspelt, misconstrued or misunderstood?
  2. How BIG is data to be BigData? (It would seem that size doesn’t matter and the IT industry has jumped on the bandwagon and refers to BigData that contains data collected from traditional means plus the incredible increase in mobile and social media usage data.)

Come along to this exclusive ACTA event in the salubrious surrounds of the Council Chambers at Sydney’s Town Hall and find out exactly what BigData is, why there is so much talk about it and what is the future for BigData to leverage advantage for retailers and consumers alike.

The event starts at 6:30p.m. and is is a pay per entry event. For details, please contact Bridie Rees of ACTA at bridie (at) mandla.com.au or call on 0424168025.
